EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Any organization is a meaningful convergence of people with unity of ideas and a
specific goal in mind to achieve. It is also characterized by relevant and processed flow
of communication and structured form of relationships. Organizations have existed
since time immemorial albeit in slightly different forms and with variance in purposes
they sought. It constitutes an important part of society and is indispensable for fulfilling
the needs of inhabiting human beings as well as other dependent organisms.
It is rightly said that organizations are born with human needs and their endeavour
remains the same irrespective of the evolutions societies go through. Our needs,
necessities and aspirations have changed on a continuous basis but when it comes to
fulfilling them we always fall back on the organizations that have stood there and served
us for ages.
This project is an effort to understand how abstract ideas make home in the minds of
humans resulting in vision, which is transformed into a synchronized effort altogether
in an organization.
This project was undertaken to understand the functioning of an investment advisory
firm including all the departments and the way they integrate and coordinate amongst
themselves. It was an opportunity to get a glimpse of the highly competitive, innovative
and constantly changing investment scenario in our country where the tendency to
invest is a bit on the lower side. More than two-thirds of the populace arent even aware
of the vast numbers of options available to them. Apart from life-insurance and the
fixed deposit schemes people in majority are unaware and uneducated about the finance
market. Though investment activities are performed in a large scale on a day to day
basis and its contribution to the national economy is a sizeable amount it involves a
sparse number of people.
Investments in any form requires a lot of thought process going before the final and
actionable decision is in place. It requires time, knowledge and constant monitoring of
the market. One should be very clear about the objectives of doing an investments and
the returns expected at a particular point of time in future. For those people who need
an expert to help them in managing their investments, Singularis Capital Private
Limited comes as an answer.
