Job description

Responsibilities
Take lead roles to implement overall commissioning plans - Develop overall
commissioning strategy & philosophy and execution plan - Prepare the
commissioning execution plan covering equipment FAT, onshore precommissioning/commissioning and offshore commissioning.
Review equipment package commissioning plan and approve the plan.
Review equipment package technical drawings/documents in line with PCAP, work
together with engineering /design team sharing experience to improve
operability / maintainability to ensure facilities integrity, and incorporate
requirement for commissioning and start up, especially the provision of
Commissioning spares.
Establish system boundary /review Check Sheet Overview based on approved
guideline to facilitate commissioning activities
Take part in HAZOP and other reviews, and responsible to close out action items
where required.
Review construction and pre-commissioning check sheets (CSS) and commissioning
test procedures (CTPs) and ensure they are correctly signed and approved when
the work completes.
Be full time on site to ensure that all activities as stipulated in the check sheets are
executed in accordance with project technical requirement.
Develop commissioning punch lists with the anomalies prioritized, and that the
contractor establishes plans to resolve the situation. Technically sign off close-out
of punch list items.
Review the compilations of all pre-commissioning and commissioning check sheets
and other documents and verify in CCMS for handover.
Co-ordinate with the QA/QC department to mobilize of personnel to witness factory
acceptance tests for equipment, including the systems in the major equipment
packages.
Liaise with ORA Team to ensure that all pre-commissioning and commissioning
activities are performed to their requirement and all performance tests of safety
critical elements and project critical equipment are acceptable. Liaise with
operation on P2A and handover requirement.
Liaise with contractor and company site personnel on questions related to
commissioning.
Requirements
Degree in relevant Engineering fields or equivalent recognized qualification.
Min 15 years working experience in the oil & gas offshore Exploration & Production
industry as PACO or Mechanical Engineer with at least recent 5 years experience
in commissioning and start up.
Experience in onshore fabrication yards and offshore hook up and/or commissioning
is a must.
Must be able to work offshore oil/gas platform or accommodation work barge
Have working experience with in either DCS system, seawater treatment or chemical
mixing system
