Mind Traffic & Control

Have you ever seen the situation of a

road square when traffic signals are off
and no policeman to control the
Traffic? Traffic from different direction
moves towards the square and jam the
roads. Nobody is able to move to the
destination, just keep on struggling to
come out of the jam.
Similarly, in todays time of hectic and busy lifestyle, the situation of
our mind is also similar. Every time we are busy with volley of
thoughts. Due multiple thought simultaneously, we lost our control
over our mind and become confused. We are unable to focus on a
single task and our performance deteriorates day by day. Our

Do you know, as per DRDOs experiment, an adult human being

process approximately 36000 thoughts in a day. That is approx. 25
thoughts per minute. Just think what will be the quality of the
thoughts and what will be the health condition of our brain.

We, human being, process following four types of thoughts

1) Positive Thoughts Joy, Love, Hope, Mercy, Peace, Honesty,
Harmony, tolerance, Enthusiasm, Understanding. Positive

thoughts are value based thoughts which have no selfish

intentions.
2) Negative Thoughts Anger, Stress, Egoism, Racism,
Laziness, Revenge, Careless, Critism, Jealousy, Attachement.
These are the most dangerous and damaging thoughts full of
weaknesses, vices, evils, selfishness, complexities etc.
3) Necessary Work, Career, routine, Profession. These
thoughts are related with day to day routine.
4) Waste Past and Future. Waste thoughts are mainly
connected with the past happenings, events and upon which the
mind keeps brooding or worrying about the unknown future.
As is the quality of our thoughts so are our feeling, attitudes, beliefs
and behaviour. Frequent repetition of the same type of thoughts
creates our beliefs and attitudes. If we are positive thinkers, then we
will always be part of the solution and if we are prone to negative
thoughts then we are part of the problem.
The power and effect of our thoughts is such
that we are responsible for our own thoughts,
feelings and behavior. Thoughts have great
power and we create our experience by the
thoughts we choose to think. Positive thoughts
generate energy and strength and negative
thoughts rob us of the power and strength and
make us feel tired and drained.
Now we have to do ourselves, our thought audit and categorize these
thoughts into the above categories. We will get astonishing data. To
keep our mind healthy and our personality vibrant we should control
these 36000 thoughts.
The solution lies in proper planning of our activities and should
maintain our and cool and calm. Following few steps can control
your thoughts
