La calibracin de las aspersoras neumticas se hace
empricamente determinando la cantidad de lquido que
se gasta en un recorrido dado, a cierta velocidad. Si al
inspeccionar las hojas se determina que la distribucin
de la aspersin es satisfactoria se establece la velocidad
a la que debe ir la mquina. Debido a que en estas
aspersiones el volumen de aplicacin normalmente es
reducido, el control de los factores que afectan el
volumen particularmente la velocidad de desplazamiento
de la mquina, debe controlarse con mucho cuidado. El
aire retenido entre hojas de las plantas debe ser
expulsado y reemplazado por el aire que moviliza la
mquina aspersora. Si el desplazamiento de la mquina
es muy rpido no se logra este objetivo.
