Changes and revisions in v1.2.3 from v1.2.2
- Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard (32-bit) is now supported.
- [Bug fix] In Mac OS X 10.5, the application sometimes could
not be launched in standalone mode, and the error
message "[Application Name].component not found" would
be displayed. This has been fixed.
- [Bug fix] In Digidesign Pro Tools, when playing MIDI
sequence data, the timing sometimes became misaligned.
This has been fixed.
Mono/Poly
v1.0.2
- [Bug fix] In Digidesign Pro Tools, total recall sometimes did
not work properly. This has been fixed.
LegacyCell
v1.2.2
- [Bug fix] On Intel based Macs, an fxp file could not be
loaded. This has been fixed.
Some minor low-level operational bugs have also been fixed.

Mono/Poly
v1.0.1

- [Bug fix] When using the Mono/Poly as a plug-in, the


automation of the effect parameters did not work properly.
This has been fixed.
- [Bug fix] When using the Mono/Poly as a plug-in, the CPU
load could spike as the result of several operations such as
performing the save function from the host application.
This has been fixed.
- [Bug fix] Several host applications might crash when using
the "randomize parameter" function of the host application
to affect the Mono/Poly. This has been fixed.
- [Bug fix] The phrase data of Audition Riff No.87 C2 4x4 was
incorrect. This has been fixed.
- [Bug fix] The left arrow button, located on the left side of
the scroll-bar in the PROGRAM BROWSER page, would
occasionally not work when it was clicked. This has been
fixed.
- [Bug fix] When you held down the [Command] key and
clicked the mouse on certain parameters on the GLOBAL
page, the function would reset to the initial value, and then
would work properly. This has been fixed.
Various other minor bugs, display anomalies and functions
have also been fixed and/or improved.

MS-20/20FX
v1.2.1
- The .fxb file and the .cmap file which you have saved can

be loaded as the default setting when launching the


software. If you would like to make your saved data the
default setting, first, load the file which you have saved,
then click "KORG" logo on the MS-20 screen, and select
"Make Current Bank Default" or "Make Current Controller
Map Default". To owners of any previous version of this
software: please note that the method of loading the
default setting has been changed.
- In addition to using the scroll bar at the lower left corner,
the Edit View screen can be moved by clicking anywhere in
the screen (aside from the knobs) and dragging.
- Right-clicking the Program name under program select will
open a pop-up menu, and from here you can quickly select
different Programs.
MS-20
- MG TRI, MG PW, EG1, EG1 Reverse, EG2, and EG2 Reverse
have been added as External Modulation Sources. This
enables you to create wider a variety of sounds.
- 32 sounds, created with the function mentioned above,
have been added. These sounds are in the default setting
bank data ("MS-20.fxb"), automatically loaded when MS-20
v1.2.1 is started. The default setting of the former versions
(v1.0.0/1.0.1) is installed in the "Presets" folder within
"KORG Legacy" folder as "MS-20_v100.fxb".
Polysix
v1.2.1
- The .fxb file and the .cmap file which you have saved can
be loaded as the default setting when launching the
software. If you would like to make your saved data the
default setting, first, load the file which you have saved,
then click "KORG" logo on the Polysix screen, and select

"Make Current Bank Default" or "Make Current Controller


Map Default". To owners of any previous version of this
software: please note that the method of loading the
default setting has been changed.
- Right-clicking the Program name under programselect will
open a pop-up menu, and from here you can qucikly select
different Programs.
- The Modulation depth for the pitch of the VCO is controlled
by the VIBRATO INT parameter in the VCO section. (In the
original Polysix, this setting had a fixed value. If you want
to set the value as the same as original, set the VIBRATO
INT parameter to 10.) The FREQUENCY/TIMES parameter in
MG section specifies the speed of modulation.
Legacy Cell
v1.2.1
- The .fxb file and the .cmap file which you have saved can
be loaded as the default setting when launching software. If
you would like to make your saved .fxb file the default
setting, first, load the file which you have saved, then
select FILE>"Make Current Bank Default" on the Legacy
Cell screen. Also, if you would like to make your saved
.cmap file the default setting, first, load the file which you
have saved, then click "KORG" logo on the Legacy Cell
screen, and select "Make Current Controller Map Default".
To owners of any previous version of this software: please
note that the method of loading the default setting has
been changed.
- Legacy Cell also supports working with the KONTROL49
controller keyboard in KORG Native mode. The control
features are the same as the microKONTROL, with the
addition of the following new operations:

- The specification has been changed so that the


microKONTROL and the KONTROL49 will always be
assigned to the combination channel when they are used in
the KORG Native mode.
- The specification has been changed so that the assignable
pedal jack on the microKONTROL is now used for the
sustain pedal function - MIDI Control Change #64.
- Once a Program has already been selected (by clicking it in
the Performance list), the cursor keys can then be used to
select a Program.
- The MS-20 controller can be used to control Legacy Cell
parameters in the standalone mode. The following list
shows which knobs on the MS-20 controller are routed to
which Sliders and Encoders in the Legacy Cell.

- When both SYNTH1 and SYNTH2 are designated as MS-20s,
and you want the MS-20 controller to operate on only one
of the MS-20s (only SYNTH1 or only SYNTH2), set the MIDI
channel of the SYNTH you want to control to "1" using
Connection.
- When you want to control the stand-alone version using the
microKONTROL in the KORG Native mode, change the MIDI
channel of COMBINATION to "2" using Connection. Also
(The description "MIDI channel is fixed to 1 " in the manual
was wrong.), if you want to use the MS-20 Controller to
control the MS-20 at the same time, set the MIDI channel of
the SYNTH (to which the MS-20 is assigned ) to "1" using
Connection.
- When using the microKONTROL or the KONTROL49 and the
stand-alone version in the KORG Native mode, press the
[ENTER] key on the microKONTROL or the KONTROL49 and
the current parameter names will be shown on the LCDs.
- You can write (or update) a Performance program by
clicking the [Write] button, and then double-clicking a
destination program.
MDE-X
v1.2.5
- The method of the default setting of the .fxb file that is
loaded when launching the software is changed. If you
would like to make your saved .fxb file the default setting,
first, load the file which you have saved, then click "KORG"
logo on the MDE-X screen, and select "Make Current Bank
