Container for H&T lessons
Pupils in S1 & S2 and those who have chosen to study food courses in S3-S6 MUST remember to bring
a container to practical lessons. Fresh ingredients are delivered several times per week to H&T to allow
you to prepare a variety of healthy dishes. It is your responsibility to come fully prepared for lessons and
it is not acceptable to regularly forget a container. Although we have a limited stock of disposable
containers which pupils can buy for 50p these are not suitable to carry all dishes prepared in H&T and
importantly, we are eager to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Please ensure you bring a
container!
Debating Club
The debating club is open to new members for the coming year. We meet on Mondays after school and
participate in national competitions, Model UN conferences and much more.
We discuss topical issues and motions for competitions and learn skills of public speaking; constructing

opportunity to build new skills, meet new friends and boost your CV/UCAS application if you are in the
senior school. Please see Mrs. Gill or Miss Nisbett for a permission form and letter.

ski Centre in Mid Lothian. Anybody interested in a signing up please note your interest with Miss
