Please stand to say the pledge of Allegiance with your class
Attention students: 3 versus 3 intramural basketball will be starting up the second week of
the second quarter. This will be during lunch A and B. If you are interested in playing start
thinking of at least 3 people who share the same lunch with you to make up a team. Signups
to play will be next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday during P.E. (9/17)
The meeting for sixth grade girls basketball will be on Thursday, Sept. 17th after school in room
12. The information packets and tryout dates will be discussed. Thanks, Coach Spencer (9/17)
This week is Spirit Week! Each day in advisory, not only will your teacher pass out spirit tickets,
theyll pass out candy to the most spirited student in the class! Monday is Disney Day so wear
your Disney gear. Tuesday is crazy patterns day so mix it up with plaids, polka dots, stripes and
more! Wednesday is backwards day, so turn your clothes around! Thursday is TBT so wear
clothes from favorite decade. Friday is PJ day so get ready to be comfy! (9/18)
This is the last week of Enrichment Classes for Quarter One. If you have been enjoying
attending enrichment classes, please be sure to thank your teacher. Listen for the
announcements coming soon for our all NEW Enrichment Classes for Quarter 2! (9/17)
Do you like to laugh? Please join us for our very first Improv show of the year! Improv is a a
form of theatre where the dialogue, characters, and plot are made up on the spot, often with
audience suggestions. Tickets are on sale before and after school on Friday, September 18 and
at the door beginning at 4:30 pm for $3. Show time is at 5:00 pm and snacks will be sold at
intermission. Come on out and show your support of your friends on the Quarter One Improv
Team including 6th graders Nick, Julia, Ethan, Ellie, Sophia and Rafael; 7th graders Kat,
Michael and Colby; and 8th graders Kayla, Camille, Hannah, Ben, Ashleigh, Meghan, Marin,
Collin, Sarina, and Brennan. Bring your friends and family for a fun evening and Improv your

Adams has a new award called the #icanhelp award. This award will go to a student, teacher,
administrator, or staff member that you nominate!. The nominee should be friendly, kind, and
always helping out. To vote, there will be ballot boxes and papers in the library. Write the
name of the person and why you are nominating them and put in the correct box. The winner
will be announced every other Monday and they get to write their name on our school
#icanhelp shirt in the library. Plus, they get a candy bar of their choice! Lets get out there and
