Need of Stage Gate Process

OIIP increased from 15MMt to 51MMt
Oil production increased from 200 to 360tpd during last 3 years and
efforts to enhance it to 1000tpd

Air injection pilot is to be implemented in Gamij Central and

envisaged recovery of 47%

Carried out fast track development drilling, HF jobs and well

interventions

Strategies formulated for full fledged water / gas injection

Reservoir simulation completed for Kalol & Chhatral pays

Objective of the study
Infill drilling for optimum exploitation for Kalol sands
Review of water injection for pressure maintenance for Kalol sands
by infill drilling and conversion of poor oil producers to water
injectors
Development strategy for Chhatral sand including assessing the
requirement of water injection scheme
IRS proposed 77 location out of which 37 location were recommended
in 13th ADB, Mar14

Chhatral Pay- Development Strategy

Chahatral OIIP 35 MMt
Chhatral sand developed throughout of the field
Sand thickness is vary from 20m to 200m
Permeability in the range of less than 1 md to 10 md
Sand is on depletion drive
Well productivity only 2-3 m3/d
Cumulative oil production 0.113 MMm3 (as on 1.1.2014)
Recovery is around 0.33%
Sensitivity of well spacing and different water injection pattern
done
Development strategy needs cautious approach
