Welcome back Mrs Nicholson

Well done!
Well done all our Year 6 pupils who all
read at home on Monday evening. Our
Year 6 pupils (and parents) are setting
a great example by reading on average
4.9 times per week.

PTFA Quiz Night - Postponed

It is with regret that this event has
been postponed until the New Year
due to poor ticket sales. Further
details to follow soon.

Reminder - start time

We have set our school clock and
school bell carefully to the correct
time. Remember that your child must
be in school before the bell goes and
the doors close at 8.55am. If you are
late for any reason please bring your
child to the school office so we can
note the reason for the lateness. We
keep these records because Ofsted
require us to address persistent late
arrival to school.

Reminders
- Reception Forest School is on
Monday 19th October 2015. Dont
forget to send children in their
own clothes suitable for the
weather on the day.
- Year 1 & 2 Flu vaccine consent
forms to be returned by Friday
16th October 2015.

Building work
The work being carried out
either side of the school
entrance is to create a school
garden and direct access doors
for Y1, Y2 and Y3 to the outside
areas. This is intended to
enhance the childrens learning
experience.
Our pupils love to learn outdoors
and we have noticed a higher
level of engagement and
enjoyment during outdoor
learning. The work should be
completed over the half term
holiday.

the following question:
What amazing things do you want
to achieve as you grow up?

Summer diaries
Well done to the 52(!) children who completed
their Summer Diaries this year. I have now read
them all and they will be returned to the children
this week.
I hope the children will keep their diaries so they
can look back at their fantastic summer in years
to come.
