THE GIANT PANDA

Panda is one of the animals that people admire because they are very
cute and delightful creature. The appearances of panda that are large head,
short tail, a long muzzle with a large nose, which gives them an excellent
sense of smell and also their fur that is thick with the combination of black
and creamy-white (Bond, 2014)

can make anyone who sees them directly

falling in love with this animal. These reasons make many people get interest
in panda, and want to close with this animal using many ways to protect
them from the extinct. The interaction between human and panda are rarely
happen because panda is quiet and solitary animal, but the reason that they
are in danger push some dedicated people who concern and love panda to
jump directly in Wolong the central panda in China. Those people try to get
close with panda in wild using uniform which resembles to real giant panda,
this trick is used to attract the panda to be close to their keepers and the
keepers can take care of panda easily in the first time, and also they can
bring them to the captivity for treatment and breeding. Not only dedicated
people want to save panda but also the Chinese people have incredible ways
to secure the future of panda in wild. The ways that are done by the Chinese
people to save panda such as the panda picture is not allowed appearing in
any Chinese media, cartoons, newspapers, comics or books (Barger, 2007),
and they save the home of panda with policies, the last they save panda
from extinct using some programs like captive breeding program which was
done in Wolong. This program was succeed because after decades its captive
breeding program, Wolong central panda hits its target number of 300 giant
pandas, and those pandas will be released in wild life. All in all, interaction
between human and panda rarely happen in wild live but it can happen when
people who love panda try to save them from the extinct using several ways.
Incredible real life adventure on the highest mountains ranges in
Central China is habitat of cute animals Wolong panda or Giant panda,

specifically in the areas of the Minshan and Qinling mountains (The provinces
of Gansu-Sichuan and Shaanxi). Torrential rains or dense moist throughout
the year which is characterizes these forests, often shrouded in heavy
clouds. In this forest panda staying in big rocky places and in hollowed out
trees. Fertility of various bamboo plants and high trees that make this forest
becomes best place for Wolong Panda. These high bamboo forests are cool
and wet just as pandas liked. They may climb as high as 13,000 feet (3,962
meters) to eat on higher slopes in the summer season. Giant Panda has lived
in bamboo forests for several million years. It is a highly specialize animal
with unique adaptations. Natural river with nature stone, clean, and clear
water is the one of incredible place where panda enjoys the cool moist
climate while eats their food like bamboo.

Giant Panda was considered a

rare species even in ancient China. Because of some activities such as

farming, forest clearing, and other development now restrict giant pandas in
the mountains.

In sort, to increase protected areas the provincial

governments of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu, working closely with WWF,

have been creating new nature reserves and extending existing reserves.
There are several new nature reserves in Sinchuan : Wolong National Nature
Reserve (in Wenchuan County), Fengtongzhai Natural Reserve (in Baoxing
County), Four Maiden's Mountain Nature Reserve (Xiaojin County), Labahe
Nature Reserve (in Tianquan County), Heishuihe Nature Reserve (in Lushan
and Dayi Counties), Jintang-Kongyu Nature Reserve (in Kangding County).
