following is a summary of the discussion and vote: Motion to

a line item in the budget for chartering vehicles in the future.
After a time of discussion, the motion passed.

TOCCOA MUSIC CONFERENCE REPORT

Seventeen of our Saints Alive Choir members traveled to the
Georgia Baptist Conference Center in Toccoa, GA last week to
participate in the State Senior Adult Choir Festival. In addition
to the beautiful fall setting, food and facilities, we were inspired as we rehearsed music which we will share on Sunday,
December 6. The composer of the music, Pepper Choplin, was
our festival leader and we learned a lot. Pepper even entertained us with funny and touching songs which he has written. Join us on December 6 as we share our musical gift I
Hear the Prophet Callin.

COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING SERVICE

Again this year, the Christian community of Bainbridge is invited to
attend a service of thanksgiving, where we praise God for His goodness and mercy. Churches all around town are cancelling their own
activities on Sunday evening of November 22. We will gather in the
sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church, on Shotwell Street, at
6:00 PM for a time of worship and praise led by the choir of FPC
and a message from Rev. Mike Brown, Pastor at the First United
Methodist Church. There will be no activities here at First Baptist
Church, allowing all of us to share our thanksgiving together.

Mission Opportunity
Wednesday night November, 11 our students will be
meeting together at the old Bainbridge Middle School
to help with the Friendship Houses apple pie
fundraiser. We will be helping by folding the boxes
for the pies They have about 600 boxes that need to
be assembled so this is a great opportunity to serve
the Friendship House. We will have both vans
available to transport students. We will be meeting at
6:00 at the church and leaving by 6:10. We will
provide food and return to the church by 7:45.
Parents, if you are able to drop off and pick up from
the school you are welcome to do that as well. Let
me know if you have any questions!!

Turkey Bowl
Monday, November 23rd will be our first annual
Turkey Bowl. We will meet at the church and have a
day planned for our students to participate in a flag
football game and chili supper. Be sure to sing up for
