The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal is an autonomous Institution established by the Ministry of Human Resource
Development, Government of India.
The Research and Development office of the Institute is a subsidiary wing with a mission to promote and pursue projects of short term nature to
support the research element of the faculties. The Research and Development wing of the Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the
following temporary and short term project positions in the office of Research & Development.

Desirable and Job Responsibilities

1. Overall management of Core and Professional Labs, duly reporting to

the Head of the Department.
2. Laboratory instruction and supervision, preparation of grade sheets,
assignment and submission of final grades.
3. Managing day to day scheduling of practical classes and allotment of
duties to the Lab Assistants.
4. Coordination with other Lab instructors and TAs.
5. Maintenance and upkeep of Core and Professional Labs of respective
departments.
6. Inventory and consumables recordkeeping, procurement and
monitoring of usage.
7. First aid and safety management in the two labs.
8. Coordination with maintenance wing for electrical, plumbing, civil
works etc. related to these labs.
9. Procurement of gases and other consumables for running these labs.
10. AMC and warranties management of instruments in these labs.
11. Any other job assigned by the HoD.

General Terms and Condition:

1) The posts are initially for a period of one year and further extendable on yearly basis, based on continuation of t h e project.
2) The posts are purely contractual and temporary and for a maximum period of 5 years duration.
