A.

Pre-Registration

ALL current students (including level 6 students planning to graduate) must complete the online pre-registration for the Spring I term.
Students must pre-register online at my.unt.edu during Week 6: Monday, November 23, 8:00 AM - Monday, November 30, 5:00 PM.
If you need help registering online, you can visit the mLab in MARQ 338 for help or see the tutorial on My IELI (Blackboard) in the How To for
IELI students folder. If your plans change after you register, you must go to the IELI Main Office (MARQ 145) to update your information.
Level 6 students who fail will automatically be registered for the next term. All students must have their tuition paid by Friday, December 11.
*Spring I term dates are January 19 - March 11, 2016.

B. UNTs Thanksgiving Break

There will be no classes on
Thursday, November 26, and Friday, November 27.
Enjoy your break, everyone!

C. Spring I Tuition

Spring I tuition payment of $3,250.00 is due by 3:00 PM on Friday, December 11. To pay, you must go
to my.unt.edu, click on the Finances button on the left, and choose Make a Payment. If you need help
with making a payment online, visit the mLab in MARQ 338.
If you would like to sign up for a Payment Plan, you MUST go to Alissa in MARQ 105 to sign up for one
before December 11.

D. Class Time Requests

All schedule preferences for the Spring I term must be submitted online between Monday, November 23, and Friday, December 4.
The form can be found online at https://rlm.unt.edu/ieli-info/class-time-request-form.
When you complete the form, you must submit documentation, such as an official work schedule, your EIS class schedule, or an official
letter from your childs school or daycare to MARQ 145. If you have special circumstances, you must submit your request and the
appropriate documentation before December 11, 2015.
This is extremely important since changes will not be made after the Spring I term begins.

E. Become a PAL!

Applications to become a PAL for Spring I are now open!

PALs are IELIs peer mentors that help welcome new students, translate information during
Welcome Week, and attend and help out with other IELI events.
If you are in levels 4-6 and are interested in becoming a PAL, stop by MARQ 202 for an
application! The deadline to apply is Friday, December 4.

F. Class Photo Winners

The best dressed class winners are Cleyeras WR 5.2 class!

G. Coffee & Culture Discussion Group

Coffee & Culture is held every Thursday, 5:006:00 PM in MARQ 215 and is a great way to practice your English
outside of class. However, the Coffee & Culture Discussion Group will not be meeting this week due to the
Thanksgiving Break. We will meet again next week on Thursday, December 3 to drink coffee and discuss what we
did for the break.

H. UNT Activities

UPC Presents: Maze Runner

This Monday, November 23 at 8:00 PM, UPC will be showing Maze Runner: Scorch Trials in the UNT Auditorium. Join UPC for Movie
Monday and watch the Glazers face all new trials in this sequel.

IELIs Wonders

Students, remember to submit your stories online to be published in, IELIs Wonders. The booklet will be published at the end of the Spring II
term online and is a great way to be published professionally! We already have lots of stories, but we want to include yours too!
Go to My IELI to learn more about how to submit your stories. If you have any questions about using Blackboard, visit the mLab in MARQ 338.
