Bypass Resistance for Direct Current Measuring

Characteristies
The shunt is used mainly for measuring high currentes and is dimensioned in such a
manner that a determined rated current corresponds generally to one of the voltage
drops of 60, 150 or 300mV.
To obtain a current indication a moving-coil indicator has to be connected with the
shunt provided with a scale according to the rated current and a measuring field
according to the voltage drop, caused by the shunt.
To guarantee the precision of the shunt, care has to be taken that the connected
measuring lines dont have a major resistance than the value, mentioned in the
technical data.
