Journal #5-Make America Great Again
If theres one thing all citizens of the United States know, its that politics are one big
joke. The candidates stand behind a podium, rant about things theyre oh so passionate about
and cease to ever make a positive change or impact. In the upcoming 2016, many young adults in
an involved and fiery generation will be of age to vote for the first time. There is one candidate
that stands out to me personally, and many of my peers. He is intelligent, passionate, and could
actually make a difference. That candidate, is Donald Trump.
Donald Trump is clearly qualified to run America. Hes a reality television star, hes well
over the age of thirty-six, and hes a real business man. The United States is basically one huge,
intangible business-so why not have a CEO be our president? Not to mention the fact that
Donald Trump is overwhelmingly inspiring. I mean, hes running on the slogan Make America
Great Again for heavens sake. Isnt that what we all want? To make America great again? And
lets not forget about his famous quote: You know, it doesnt really matter what [the media]
write, as long as youve got a young and beautiful piece of ass (Nina Bahadur, 18 Real Things
Donald Trump). Refreshing and enlightening. Two words I would use to describe my man
Trump.

Mr. Trump undoubtedly appeals to the ladies of this country as well. His comments about
women have gone viral. What woman doesnt want to be judged solely on her physical
appearance? According to Trump, Beauty and elegance, whether in a woman, a building, or a
work of art, is not just superficial or something pretty to see (Trump 101: The Way to Success,
2007). Being told that I, as a woman, am aesthetically pleasing, makes my soul smile. Rock on,
Trump.
If theres one thing that I think resonates with the entire American population, its Donald
Trumps view on immigration. Envisioning illegal immigrants jumping our man-made borders,
finessing our judicial system and receiving benefits, makes my blood boil. I mean, who do they
think they are, human beings? I sure as hell hope not. I love this country and I will not stand for
people who were not born here, to enjoy America and all of its opportunities. Its just not fair, I
was involuntarily born an American, and they were involuntarily born Mexicans. Who told them
they could wander? Donald Trump has THE absolute best plan for dealing with immigrants. He
proclaims that he will build a great, great wall on [the] southern border, and [he] will make
Mexico pay for that wall (Trump, Fox News Live, 2015). Wow, just brilliant. I mean, the Berlin
Wall worked, why shouldnt a Great Wall of America?
Not only does Donald trump plan to build a wall and fix the immigration issue in
America, hes a racist! Who better to run the country than a man who doesnt even like or
support almost half of Americas population? When Mexico sends its people, theyre not
sending their best. Theyre not sending you. Theyre sending people that have lots of problems,
and theyre bringing those problems with us. Theyre bringing drugs. Theyre bringing crime.
Theyre rapists (Trump, presidential campaign announcement 2015). Ive never heard a
presidential candidate speak the truth, but Mr. Trump has no problem doing say. Hes said it

himself; [I] can never apologize for the truth. [I] dont mind apologizing for things. But [I] cant
apologize for the truth (Fox News Media Buzz, 2015). Thats something I think everybody
can agree with.
Not only is Donald Trump trustworthy, honest, business-oriented and professional, but
hes made it big on television. He had his own show called The Apprentice on NBC, in which
competitors attempted to gain Trumps approval through a series of events. The winner received
a monetary reward and a contract with one of Trumps companies. Can you say generous? Trump
also owns a portion of the beauty pageants Miss USA and Miss Universe, which clearly shows
how highly he supports the idea that women are more than just their looks.
Needless to say after extensive research, Donald Trump is obviously the only qualified
candidate for the 2016 election. Although hes had zero political experience, hes had life
experience and can relate to the American people. Hes intelligent, racist, misogynistic, and
patriotic and has all other qualities necessary to be President of the United States. Not only do
other republican wannabes not stand a chance, but the democrats such as Bernie Sanders and
Hillary Clinton definitely do not. They might as well kiss that ship goodbye. As a billionaire,
Donald Trump can bring his business savvy mind into the White House and change America for
the better. Im supporting Trump, and if you have even half of a brain, you will too.
