Banaras HinduUniversity with fundsfrom various sponsored research projects as well as the UGC
Centre of Advancedstudy in Metallurgy. Sophisticated equipment like Potentioscans,
ComputerizedElectrochemical Corrosion and Impedance Measurement System, Stress
CorrosionCracking Machine, D.C.Polarograph and Coulometry set-up were purchased. NinePh.D.

Theses, thirteen M.Tech. Dissertations and twenty-three B. Tech.Projects have been completed in
the last 25 years. Nearly 75 publications and40 conference presentations originated from the work
in this laboratory.
