Housekeeping (females only)

JOB DESCIPTION

Housekeeping/Laundry: The main position is Housekeeping, however,

employer does require that anyone on their staff is willing and able to
perform other tasks, namely Cont Breakfast Hostess and Laundry
Housekeeper should clean and stock guestrooms and public areas to
ensure the high standards of cleanliness. Clean bathtubs, toilets, sinks,
walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floor surfaces using cleaning agents,
cloths mops, sponges. Make beds. Clean bathroom. Restock all amenities.
Clean all wastebaskets, mirrors, shelves, doorframes, windows, window
frames and baseboards. Spray air freshener. All locations have a standard
time-per-room for cleaning, Usually 20-30 minutes. You must be able to
complete each room in that time
Work in the Laundry. Operate washer/dryer, separate, wash, dry, fold and
deliver sheets, pillowcases, blankets and others. This job involves moderate
to heavy lifting, bending, stretching pushing and pulling of medium to heavy
objects
Continental Breakfast Hostess will serve continental breakfast to
customers, clean the area, preparing food
Students have to be prepared for high and low hotel occupancy and work
as many as possible hours during high peak business and expect low hours
during the slow weeks of hotel operation!
