The All Campus Radio Network, ACRN.com, Athens, Ohio, January 2007-Present
Public Relations Director (June 2007-Present)
• Worked as part of a thirteen member executive board to control Ohio University’s completely
student-run internet radio station
• Co-led weekly PR/Promo department meetings consisting of twenty members
• Appointed and trained three PR assistants and delegated tasks to said assistants, also
created an ACRN PR handbook to train assistants
• Helped create and maintain ACRN’s social media presence by creating an ACRN twitter
page and a Facebook profile for ACRN’s mascot, Snat Rocklobster
• Wrote and sent press releases and media alerts for events and concerts held by the radio
station that resulted in coverage in local papers. This included concerts featuring acts such
as Andrew WK, Jay Reatard, Titus Andronicus, The Gunshy, The Flotation Walls and
Blueprint.
• Planned and headed ACRN week every April. Responsibilities included planning both
external PR events as well as internal bonding events
• Planned and headed social, PR gaining and fundraising events
• Assisted in the planning and promotion of Lobsterfest, a three-day spring music festival in
June including one all-day outside concert
• Helped promote numerous local concerts through flyering, chalking and graffiti wall painting

• Worked as part of a Public Relations team for a student created feature-length film,
Trailerpark, based on book by Russell Banks
• Compiled crew and cast information for the media kit that was created and helped to secure
state-wide and national coverage
