Senior Peer Ambassador for University College August 2011 Present Arizona State University Tempe, Arizona Co-supervise 12 Peer Ambassadors with the University College Residential Communities Coordinator. Director of social media, marketing outreach, and student engagement for University College and School of Letters & Sciences. Implement and design the University Colleges new P.I.E. Programming model that emphasizes individual pride, identity, and empowerment while incorporating the eight design aspirations of President Crows New American University model. Served as Assistant Desk Manager of a 24 hour front desk including assisting with payroll, keeping a detailed inventory of items kept at the desk, and tracking hours for 43 Desk Assistants. Co-advised the sanctioning and meeting process of the Residential Review Board. Completed innovative projects and initiatives that increased the efficiency of University Housing. Community Assistant August 2009 - May 2010 Arizona State University Tempe, Arizona Assisted a diverse group of first year students with their social, cultural, and academic transitions and adjustments to the university. Facilitated community development through personal interactions, meetings and activities for 30 plus residents in both male & mixed gender floors. Developed, implemented, budgeted, and marketed hall programs with other Community Assistants that were geared towards achievement, responsibility, and engagement. Facilitated and mediated discussions aimed at resolving conflicts between residents. Participated in an on call duty rotation and developed a strong working relationship with local police officials, fire department, and counseling services.
