behaviors that you expect for students.

You can edit a behavior that is already
there. To do that, click on edit and type
the expected behavior.
If there are more behaviors you want to
add, click on Add behavior. Type in the
desired behavior. For example, I just want
my kids to be nice to each other, so I will
type, Be Kind.
When you have finished with the positive
behaviors, click on negative behaviors.
These are the behaviors that need
correcting.
Again, you can edit any behaviors that are
already listed.
Like the positive behaviors, add any
negative behaviors that you consistently
observe in your classroom. I will add
stealing I cant keep candy in my bucket!
Now, you are ready to begin using Dojo,
you can click on a students name to give
them a positive point or a negative point.
When you select a behavior, there are
different sounds that represent positive
and negativetry it!
Finally, there is one last optional setup. If
you would like to reward groups of
students by seating chart or learning
teams that may work together, you can
create groups. First, click on groups.
Give the group a nameI am grouping
mine by how they sit in class. That way, I
can reward table groups when they show
exceptional behaviornot!
After giving your groups names, select the
students to join the groups. Now you can
give points to whole groups and not have
to click so many individual names.
When it is time to use Dojo, this is what
your screen will look like. You are ready to
begin. Happy Dojoingand may an
exceptional class result for you!
