2. If all students are here,
click/tap “All Remaining
Students Are Present” near the
top of the screen.
3. Check with your site

Creating a Gradebook
1. Click “Add Gradebook” for elementary or “Mass Add Gradebooks” for secondary.
2. If elementary, add classes by subject area. Name it accordingly, and choose
Trimester 1. We do NOT recommend making gradebooks by year.
3. If secondary, click/tap Mass Add Gradebooks. Choose the subject areas that you
will keep grades for. Choose Trimester 1 for the term, then choose create
gradebooks.
4. For all teachers, click Add/Drop Students and then for each gradebook, choose
“Add All Students.” That button will disappear after this step, and reappear if a
student changes classes or leaves school.
Linking Gradebooks Follow to the letter:
1. Choose beforehand, which, IF
ANY, classes will share ALL of
the same assignments.
2. Change the numbers to the next
number up for each grouping in
the drop down. For example, if
you have three ELD 9th grade
courses, change all of those to
“1.”
3. Any that do not link will be left as
“0.”
4. You will repeat this process for
each grouping (using new
numbers), and then for each
new set of gradebooks at the
trimester.
5. Linking is not required, but it
saves SO much time if you are a
secondary teacher with multiple
courses of the same section.
Adding Categories and Editing Options
1. You may do two steps from here:
Manage Gradebook or Add Categories.
2. First, we will manage the gradebook,
as we can add categories from there as
well as our other setup procedures.
Click that button on the right.
