HOW WOULD YOU MAINTAIN DISCIPLINE OR GOOD BEHAVIOUR IN YOUR

CLASSROOM?

My classroom management plan is to make my classroom to feel like home to

every student.

I want them to feel valued intelligent, safe and comfortable.

I will instil the culture of respecting, kindness and caring for each other

Work together with learners to outline the classroom rules and make sure they
understand the consequences.

HOW WOULD YOU DEAL WITH LEARNERS DISCIPLINE PROBLEMS NOW THAT
CORPORAL PUNISHMENT HAS BEEN ABOLISHED?
IMPOSITION:

 Being assigned to write “I will not talk in the class” 100 times, neatly, on lined paper.
Example: if he or she is talking in the class

Take away privileges

 Whenever a fun trip or a movie is organised, the mischievous students are single out and not
allowed to go along with the class, missing out on all the fun and excitement.
 Since some of the learners are lacking parental attention, as a teacher I will try to assess the
background of his/ her behaviour as a result I will assign a duty for that learner, this way
he/she will feel being important. eg. Like distributing books.
