As discussed, located in the indoor theater there are existing dry rot studs . Please advise if it is acceptable to scissor in another stud
next to the rotten one. Contractor will fasten a new pressure treated stud next to the damaged one
Please see the attached pictures and detail for location and condition of the existing dry rot.

It is acceptable to fasten a new pressure treated stud next to the damaged one. Also, where sill plate is
rotten , remove sill plate and install a new pressure treated one.
