PROPOSAL FOR PROVIDING CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR

A TYPICAL HOSPITAL PROJECT


SCOPE OF WORK:
1. Lower and Upper Basement and B ( -1 and -2 Floor ) and G + 10 storied
Structure including Terrace
2. SCOPE OF SERVICES:
1. Discussion with the Owner, Architect and other Associated Consultants
about Scope of Work and Services to be provided.
2. Discussion about Matrix of Responsibilities of each Party proposed to be
involved in the design, installation, testing and commissioning process.
3. Discussion with the Owner, Architect and other Associated Consultants
about Timeline, Project Delivery Method, Number of Bid Packages and
Procurement System.
4. Discussion with the Owner, Architect and other Associated Consultants
about process and methodology of execution at site and Channel of
Communication.
5. Discussion with the Owner, Architect and other Associated Consultants
about the Standards and Codes of Practice to be followed in addition to
NABH, NEC India and BIS. ( NABH Consultant to be provided by the
Owner )
6. Deciding conceptual placement of the Building Services Equipment in
consultation with the Owner, Architect and other Associated Consultants.
7. Understanding the Space Program with Equipment proposed by the
Architect, Interior Designer in consultant with the Hospital Consultant /
Clinical Engineer / Specialist or nominated Vendors.
8. Preparation of the Preliminary Drawings for an approval of the Owner and
Architect.
9. Preparation of Working Drawings for an approval of the Owner and
Architect and for execution at site.
10. Providing Technical Specifications for procurement and QC/QA purpose.
11. Periodic Supervision at site.
12. Providing format for testing and commissioning of the sub systems and
systems.
13. Handing over the project to the Owner.
3. SERVICES TO BE RENDERED
1. Identification of the Physical Space Requirements in co-ordination with the
Architect and other Associated Consultants.
2. Demarcation of the Vertical Risers / Service Ducts / Duct Banks and Cable
Trenches for routing of the Services in consultation with the Architect and
Interior Designer as well as other Building Services Consultants.
3. Design of complete Internal Electrical Installations with submission of:
a. Lighting Layouts with Controls ( Basic / Architectural Lighting shall be
provided by the Interior Designer / Architect )

b. Preparation of Power Receptacles Layout in consultation with the


Architect, Interior Designer and Hospital Equipment Vendors /
Nominated Suppliers. ( Basic Power Receptacle Requirements shall be
provided by the Interior Designer / Architect / Hospital Consultant )
c. Schedule of Switch Boards and Luminaries Selection.
d. Load Calculations.
e. Low Voltage Electrical Installation Details for CCTV Network, Security
System Network, Computer LAN / Wi-fi Installations, Rodent Repellent
Systems, Audio-Video Installations and Telecommunication System
Network etc.

Sunken Slab Details.
12. Schedule of Openings, FFL, Sill Level, Lintel Level, BBL, Slab Bottom,
Clear Height from FFL etc.
13. Interior Working Drawings Plans, Sections, Folded Elevations, Reflected
False Ceiling Plans etc.
14. Working Drawings/ Shop Drawings of the Nursing Stations, Reception
Tables, Desks / Workstations / Side Tables / Conference Tables and Meeting
Tables for Services Integration.
15. Detail of Wall / Column Claddings or Coverings or Panelling etc.
16. Relevant Shop Drawings from the Vendors / Manufacturers.
17. Laboratory Furniture Shop Drawings and its Services Requirements.
18. Site Preparation Guidelines / Requirements and Installation Manuals of all
the Specialist Hospital / Medical Equipment.
19. All Hospital / Medical Equipment / Instruments / Devices Complete Stage
wise Installation Details with Power Consumption in KW / Watts and as per
the Electrical Consultants format.
20. ICCU and ICU Bed Head Panel Details / Working Drawings/ Shop Drawings.
21. Kitchen Equipment Details with Power Consumption in KW / Watts and as
per the Electrical Consultants format.

22. Detail and location of the Power Receptacle Requirements for the entire
Hospital.
23. Special Purpose Task Lighting Requirements.
24. Modular OT / Modular Equipment Details.
25. Working Drawings of all the Utilities for Services Integration.
26. Power Requirements from Rentals / Tenants etc.

Advance shall be ____% of the Fees.
Period of Association shall be 24 Months.
Fees for prolonged duration shall be equitably adjusted.
Back to back payment of fees shall not be accepted as terms of
payment.

6. SITE VISITS:
1. Total six Site Visits shall be free and included in this Assignment.
2. Additional Site Visit / day shall be reimbursed by the Owner / Client at
Rs. _______ / Day for Principals and Rs._______ / Day for Engineers.
7. SUBMISSIONS:
1. All deliverables shall be in Soft Copy.
8. SERVICES NOT INCLUDED:
1. Day to day Co-ordination and Supervision of Site and Installations
2. Materials Management and Stores Management
3. Liasioning and Inspection Charges with Authorities having Jurisdiction
such as GSEB / PGVCL and RUDA / Department of Health.
4. Temporary Electrification at Site.
5. Design / Consultations for Rentals / Tenants.
