Note:
The Max Events/Sec mentioned above are raw events capacity, if the hardware
specifications are met.
Virtual Appliance medium configuration will be used only for Event Collection &
Reporting while the large configuration can be used for all functionalities including
Management and Correlation.
We highly recommend installing of VMware Tools on the UARM server to get better
performance results.
As UARM comes with minimal version of CentOS/RHEL operating system, if end users
are installing any additional packages, we will not support any fixes to additional
packages which are not part of UARM CentOS/RHEL installation.
CA User Activity Reporting Module soft appliance or virtual appliance will be supported on any
physical or virtual machine that
Is supported by the underlying CentOS or Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server operating
system used in CA User Activity Reporting Module.
Starting with the r12.5.02 release, CA User Activity Reporting Module uses CentOS as the
underlying operating system, whereas all older releases use Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server.
Please consult your hardware vendor's website to check if they support the given CentOS/Red
Hat Enterprise Linux Server version. The table below provides the version of the operating
system used in the last two releases:

Note: Due to extensive hardware configurations and platforms that are available, CA will not be
certifying specific server models from leading vendors starting with CA User Activity Reporting
Module 12.5.02.

The boot disk must have a minimum of 42 GB of free space. This includes:
20 GB dedicated to the CA Enterprise Log Manager binaries under the directory structure
/opt/CA
