YIA Youth Unemployment

Summary:
Throughout Europe there are massive problems with youth unemployment. This
youth exchange will aim to address this issue in a number different ways. For the
duration of the project the participants will learn the qualities that employers
look for, they will discuss the importance of various employment skills and they
will learn to maximise their own employment potential. This will be realised
through talks from employers, CV and mock interview workshops, discussions for
how to address the employment issues in each country and to help the
participants become proactive in searching for and gaining employment and if
this happens, for the participants to serve as an inspiration to others to be
similarly pro-active and gain employment themselves. The project will be held in
Cheltenham, UK with 35 participants from the United Kingdom, Turkey, Spain,
Croatia, Slovenia, Poland and Latvia. The organisers will have a hosting role for
this project. We will use the conference room in the Queens Hotel as the main
venue for the project where both the workshops and the talks will take place. The
project title will be Addressing Youth Unemployment in Europe UK. The project
will last 10 days and will be from 19th August 29th August 2013.

02)Issues the importance of employment skills
3)Fonding from other sources so reimbursement is 100%.
Main priority Is to help people with unemployment problem. We should show
them strategy how would they get job more easily.

United Kingdom , Turkey , Spain , Croatia, Slovenia , Poland and Latvia.
Protection and safety of participants:
Every participant must have general health insurance like care in the urgent
situations , x ray examination , and other..
Project s content and methodology:
As there is a high level of employment, participants will improve their
competiveness of the labour market; using different kind of non-formal learning
methods like CV writing, mock interviews, debates, discussions, role plays and
presentations etc. The participants will build confidence to get better skills

European dimension:

Educate people about EU citizenship advantages, opportunities, being involved.


Become aware of common values among young Europeans.
Building our own EU future take part in discussions, debates, youth projects,
volunteering.
Being aware of EU institutions, special plans and allocated funds for dealing with
youth unemployment.
Knowing the founding principles of EU, basic values (democracy, freedoms,
human rights).
