DIRECT RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF VILLAGE REVENUE OFFICERS

THROUGH SPECIAL DISTRICT SELECTION COMMITTEE FOR THE MERGED
REVENUE MANDALS AND VILLAGES OF KHAMMAM DISTRICT (IN SCHEDULED
AGENCY AREAS) FOR ST CATEGORY) AND FOR KUKUNOOR VILLAGE GENERAL
CATEGORY.
Applications are invited through On-line in the proforma Application
available on the WEBSITE (www.westgodavari.org) from eligible Local Scheduled
Tribes candidates from 20.04.2016 to 05.05.2016 (Note:- 04.05.20 16 is the
last date for payment of fee) for to the post of Village Revenue Officers as per
Andhra Pradesh Village Revenue Officers Service Rules, 2008 for direct recruitment
through the District Selection Committee.

1.Educational
Qualification

Must have passed Intermediate Examination conducted by the Andhra

Pradesh State Board of Intermediate Examination or
its equivalent
Examination.

2. Nativity

For filling up the vacancies of VROs in the agency areas, the candidate shall
be the qualified local scheduled tribes only in terms of G.O.Ms.No.903,
Rev(VA) dept., dated: 25.08.2009.
For General category of the post in Kukunoor Revenue Village. The applicant
shall be a native candidate of the District.

3. AGE:-

No person shall be eligible if he is less than 18 years and more than

40 years of age on the 1st day of july of the year in which the
notification for selection is made.
Provided that the maximum age limit shall be raised:i.
By 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to ST category.
ii.
Uniformly by 10 years in the case of candidates Physically
Challenged persons.
iii.
Uniformly by 3 years for Ex-Servcemen in addition to the
length of service rendered in the armed forces.
iv.
Uniformly by the length of regular service subject to maximum
of 5 years for the persons already in service of the state
government and by 3 years for retrenched temporary
employees in the state census department with a minimum
service of Six(6) months.

Rs.16,400/- to 49,870/- as per PRC-2015.

The Selection of candidates is based on a objective type Written Test for
100 Marks at Intermediate level.
General Studies

Arithmetic Skills

30 Marks

Logical Skills

10 Marks

* 50%of questions (30 Marks) will be aimed at testing

the knowledge of the candidate on rural areas and rural
living Conditions.
Question paper will be in Telugu Medium.
7. Exam Fee:-

Each applicant must pay Rs.300/-.

Applicants belongs to ST category have to pay Rs.100/- for each post.
No Fee applicable to the applicants belonging to OH/VH/HI category.
(However they shall hand over a Xerox copy of the Medical certificate issued
in SADAREM to the concerned centre)
