Japan-Mongolia Economic Partnership Agreement to on June 7th, 2016
Japan and Mongolia have signed a bilateral economic partnership agreement that
will expand trade and enhance the strategic partnership between the two
countries in 2015. The agreement including the Free-trade agreement will be
effective on June 7th, 2016.

Mongolia exported 56t meat through the Burgastai port

In February, "Mon-Tuva" LLC of Mongolia started exporting meat to China via the
Burgastai port. In April, the company exported 56t mutton and goat meet.

"Shivee Ovoo" JSC announces rights issue
As per State Great Khural resolution no.70, "Shivee Ovoo" JSC will be reducing
state ownership from 90% to 51% by issuing additional shares. During its Annual
General Meeting the company announced rights issue for existing shareholders.
The price will be determined in accordance with the current market price by the
company's Board.

BoM holds FX auction
On the Foreign Exchange Auction held on May 10th, 2016, the BoM received bid
offers of US$5.8 million and CNY5.7 million. The BoM did not participate in the
auction.

World news

Copper Holds Near One-Month Low Amid China Woes, Dollar Strength
Copper traded near the lowest level in almost a month amid concern demand in
China, the worlds largest consumer, may be waning. On Monday, prices tumbled
to $4,682.50, the lowest intraday level since April 12. Copper has dropped from
above $5,000 at the end of April as concerns increased about the strength of
Chinas demand this year, and the dollar rebounded. Imports of copper by China
slumped in April from a record, helping to spur losses in all six main LME metals
on Monday. The dollar was little changed on Tuesday after a five-day rally as
investors assessed the possibility of higher U.S. rates.
