Support Packages
Northumbria University offers

support programmes. As a
Northumbria athlete youll gain
access to an unrivalled package
of athletic and academic
support including; sport-specific
coaching, physiotherapy, strength
and conditioning, sport psychology,
performance analysis and sport
science support all delivered
delivered in our 30m Sport Central
facility.

Athletic Scholarships
Every year Northumbria awards
generous Athletic Scholarships
to talented athletes studying
at Northumbria University.
Students can gain up to a 100%
contribution towards tuition

Academic Scholarships
Northumbria University offers
a range of scholarships up to
2,000 for US undergraduate and
postgraduate students.

Fees and Living Costs


Our undergraduate and
postgraduate fees for 2016/17
range from 11,500 16,000.
For subject specific fees please visit

Study Abroad fees are 5000 per
semester.
Estimated living costs are a
minimum of 820 per month.

US Federal Aid
US students attending
Northumbria University are able
to apply for Direct and PLUS loans
up to their Cost of Attendance
(CoA). CoA covers tuition, housing,
travel, return flights, food, books
and other legitimate expense.

Entry requirements
Undergraduate
High School Diploma and a
3.0/4.0 cumulative High School
GPA plus one of the following:
SAT I minimum scores in each
component, Verbal 600, Math
600 and Written 600
A minimum ACT composite score
of 26 or higher
Advanced Placement Tests
Grade 3 or above in at least two
tests (preferably three tests)
Postgraduate
Cumulative GPA and be
consistent with X/4.0 or above for
courses which require a UK 2:2 or
2:1 equivalent
