INTRODUCTION

INFRASTRUCTURE

Hitech Concrete Solutions Chennai Pvt. Ltd. has been formed as a consulting company specialized in providing solutions to
the various concreting issues through in-situ and laboratory testing. Its founders are structural engineers who have more
than 20 years of experience in the various non destructive testing techniques as well as in concrete technology.
Hitech Concrete Solutions Chennai Pvt Ltd is offering solutions to the construction industry in the areas of Concrete
Technology and Non Destructive Testing for quality related issues. Working with Hitech Concrete Solutions Chennai Pvt Ltd
is a more professional, less risky way to develop new areas.

The laboratory is equipped with a cement lab, concrete lab and chemical lab,
besides possessing a host of Non Destructive and Partially Destructive Testing equipments.

VISION
To be a leading laboratory for testing construction materials and to offer ethical concrete solutions to the various quality
issues of the construction industry through Non Destructive Testing.

CHARTER
Providing the construction industry with economical and durable concrete design mixes including special concretes like
Self Compacting Concrete, Fly ash and Slag concretes and Temperature controlled concrete
Providing the construction industry with appropriate solutions with proper design to any issues arising out of concrete
quality through in-situ and laboratory testing

CEMENT LAB
The cement lab is temperature and humidity controlled for conducting the various tests on
cement as per the relevant Indian Standards.

CONCRETE LAB
Design of concrete mixes for various grades using mineral admixtures, viz., fly ash, slag and silica
fume can be carried out at the concrete lab. The concrete lab has a Pan Mixer, Vibrating table,
various workability measurement devices and is equipped with a Accelerated concrete testing
chamber. The lab is also equipped with a 3000 kN cube Compression Testing Machine(CTM) and a
600 kN Universal Testing Machine(UTM) for the testing of cubes and steel rods respectively. The
concrete lab is also having facilities for testing of the various constituent materials of concrete,
viz., fine and coarse aggregate. The lab can give economical concrete design mixes based on trial
mixes for the various grades and using mineral admixtures.

Providing training to the site engineers in the areas of Concrete Technology and Water proofing
Organizing training programmes and conducting specialized courses for the dissemination of knowledge in the field of
civil engineering for the benefit of field engineers in the construction industry

CHEMICAL LAB

Giving access to the various facilities available in the in-house laboratory to the students of the various educational
institutions and universities who are pursuing their research in the field of civil and structural engineering in the area
of concrete technology

The chemical lab is equipped with state of the art facilities with Fume Cupboard to evaluate
the chemical composition of reinforcing steel rods and water.

NON DESTRUCTIVE AND PARTIALLY DESTRUCTIVE TESTING

The laboratory possesses various NDT and partially destructive test equipments like
Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity (UPV) tester, Rebound Hammer, Profometer, Half Cell Potential
measuring device, Rapid Chloride Penetration Tester (RCPT) and Pile Integrity Tester.

OFFICE
The Laboratory is established in top quality and spacious offi ce space in the Ayanambakkam
Industrial Estate in the outskirts of Chennai. It is important for a high tech consulting company
