FastPitch
FastPitch tents are designed to be quickly set-up for when you have no time to spare. These tents often have frames that can be
set up considerably faster than your usual tent, making them great for last minute getaways.
Easy Set Up System

Spend as little time as possible setting up your tent thanks to the Easy Set Up system. Every Coleman tent design is carefully
considered at every stage. All tents include features designed to take the hassle out of tent pitching, including pre-attached
bedrooms and colour-coded poles.

Area Management System

All big Coleman camping tents are designed to resemble a home-away from home, giving your family the space, comfort and
privacy for a more relaxing break. The new larger family tents have a unique 3 step internal design that includes a bedroom area,
living room area and built-in shelter/ entrance area. The ultimate in family camping comfort and convenience. Coleman family
tents offer practical features including storage pockets, hooks for hanging lights and organisers and a thermo-electric cord vent.
Ring & pin

An assembly system used on tents where long pins are attached to the corners of a tent, which are then inserted into the hollow
ends of tent poles. The pole goes over the pin and stays in place for a convenient and easy set up.
Colour coded poles

Tent poles are coded by colour to indicate which poles should be assembled together for a correct and uncomplicated set-up.
Cable opening
Convenient openings in the tent wall that allow easy accessibility to a power source outside the tent.

UV Guard Sun Protection
Certified laboratory testing proves Coleman UVGuard protection fabrics with an SPF50 provide excellent protection against
the suns ultraviolet rays. Proper use of sunscreen combined with shelters and tents made with UVGuard protection fabric is
recommended against sun exposure.
UV Pro
Offers fabric protection from UV rays and increased fabric longevity.
Fire Retardant
Our material ensures that the fabric will not flare dangerously out of control and will self-extinguish, giving time to escape in the
event of an emergency.

Exclusive Tent Features

HINGE DOOR
The patented Hinge Door from Coleman makes it quick and easy to come and go from your tent.
The rigid door and its door frame increases the tents structural integrity making it feel more like a
home away from home. Ideal for family and group camping, you can close the tent door without
needing to zip it, making your tent and belongings more accessible without having everything on
display or needing to continually use noisy zippers when coming or going.

Confused about tent water ratings?
Are you confused about terminology such as hydrostatic head, water rating, water column and PU
coating?
A tents waterproof properties are measured
using a rating called its hydrostatic head. Put
simply, this equates to the amount of water in
millimetres that the tents fabric can tolerate
before any water droplets seep through.
So, if a tent has a hydrostatic head of 3000mm,

surface before any leaks through.
For groundsheet ratings, pressure needs to be

being wet. Coleman tents have been engineered to stand up to the elements, providing outstanding
performance to keep you and your family dry.
Taped seams and rain porch*

For extra protection against the rain, all Coleman flysheets

feature taped seams. Needle holes can compromise the
fabrics waterproof qualities and allow water to enter the tent.
Taping involves thermally sealing a waterproof material over
the seams in order to prevent any water from seeping into
the tent. Rain porch provides protection from rain on entry
and exit (*Da Gama range only).
All Coleman tents have been carefully engineered to provide

maximum stability in windy conditions. The sturdy pole structures
and multiple guy lines ensure that you and your family will
remain protected on the campsite, whatever the weather. Mesh
pole sleeves allow wind to pass over the tent easily, making the
structure more aerodynamic and reducing wind noise.
Rainskirts and inverted zippers

Prevent rain from entering the tent
Fully sewn-in, welded groundsheet

Keeps rain and bugs out
Inverted zippers prevent rain from pooling and seeping into the
tent. Zipper cuffs around tent doors provide additional protection
by adding an extra layer over the zipper areas. Rainskirts allow the
rain to run-off the tents flysheet to the ground, minimising the
risk of water entering the tent.
All Coleman family tents feature a fully integrated, sewn-in

groundsheet made from durable and waterproof polyethylene.
All seams are heat-welded to eliminate the presence of needle
holes. As well as keeping the elements at bay, this ensures a clean,
dry and bug-free camping experience.
