FI-AA Reconciliation
Issue: The balances between AM Reconciliation and Asset Explorer (Asset Reports), which closing
procedure in Asset Management.
Analysis:
SAP has been implemented to the client in the month of May 26th.
While uploading historical data like asset net value and accumulated depreciation manually calculated
depreciation till May month and uploaded the values to SAP.
But in SAP again depreciation has been calculated for the month of MAY as per the period controls
maintained in the depreciation key.
Hence depreciation values in the asset accounting and reconciliation accounts were differ.
Analysis Document:
T-Code ABST2: Used to check the reconciliation balances of FI to AA

Solution Document Reverse the documents by which depreciation has been posted more.
It is not possible to reverse the depreciation.
Option 1: Write up. Using this option we can increase the value of an asset. But in this scenario again it
will hit the reconciliation account there by there will be no impact.
Option 2:
t-Code: OAMK Resetting of Reconciliation Account
FB08 Reverse the Document
OBST2 Check the reconciliation between FI to AM.
OAMK Reset the reconciliation Account back to Assets.
