1.0 Purpose :

First In, First Out" (FIFO) Principle. This means that the first material received as well as the first product
produced /or received is also the first material to be used or the first product to be shipped/issued on a shop
floor
Store Officer

6.0 Instructions or Flow Chart

After receipt of an material stores is put an identifications Tag which

having an Under inspection /Accepted /Rejection status
When tag is having three colour codes then it is assumed as an under
inspection

After the inspections QA removes the under inspections & Kept Accepted
or rejected as per status of an material

Accepted material is treated as an accepted one & QA is entered in ERP as

an accepted lot

store is put an colour code stickers as per month wise for each packaging
box
When any material is required on a shop floor the users would give an
MRS( MATERIAL REQUSITION TO STORE ) in an ERP
The Stores officer then re-verifies that the Stock in ERP & Prepared
required material list
The Stores officer then calls the stores assistant responsible for
Stores officer & Stores assistant confirms that the colour codes of stock
material

Stores personnel confirms that first material received is issued to the shop
floor first For example if material having different colour codes i.e. for an
month of feb & Jan &Material is required for a month in march then he
ensures that Jan stickers material is issued first then followed by Feb
