SYNOPSIS
All Zombies Wear Sunglasses is a show designed to appeal to a broad audience ranging
from teenagers to adults. The first season of this drama will consist of six one-hour
episodes. All Zombies Wear Sunglasses will be an excellent fit for a prime time slot on
The CW as it will appeal to the demographic watching at that time.
Set in the rural south in a small town, All Zombies Wear Sunglasses addresses some
deep-seated fears society faces every day. Gone are the zombies that walk after death.
Instead, they are replaced by friends and family who are sick, but alive. Hope can be
destructive and when there is a chance that a loved one might return to their normal
state, life-threatening risks seem worthwhile.
In a small town in Alabama, teenagers are behaving strangely and some are dying.
Sebastian Diaz, a high school principal worried for his students and his daughter, seeks
answers, but must accept that they are not what he wants to hear. When his daughters
friends disappear, Sebastian has to accept that whats happening in Woodville is bigger
than his ability to control the situation.
When the military steps in, following a call from the Centers for Disease Control,
Sebastian and the other residents of Woodville are quarantined and cut off from the rest
of the world. The townspeople soon learn that they are isolated not for their own
protection, but for the protection of the rest of the country.
Factions develop within Woodville, each seeking their own advantage as the military
loses control. The townspeople divide into those following their faith, those relying on
their weapons, and those seeking to find loved ones trapped outside the quarantine.
As the factions battle for control of the town and the resources, Sebastian must choose
between saving his town and saving his family.
LOGLINE: When teenagers in a small Alabama town begin attacking their friends,
everyone from their principal to the CDC and USAMRIID look for the source of the
mysterious illness that leaves its victims craving flesh and wearing sunglasses.
