This PRB design was a derivate of the PRB 413 Anti-Personal mine.
It was used as Offensive and Defensive handgrenade, and was also been tested for use as
a rifle grenade (with a tail attached, and a different fuze-assembly)
When used as Offensive nade, without the fragmentation coil in place, it was designated
as NR7 OFF GREN.
When used as Defensive nade, With the fragmentation coil in place, it was designated as
NR8 DEF GREN. Frag coil weight is 299 g
The designation of the grenade when used as Rifle grenade is :
PRB 103 (without booster charge) or PRB 104 (with booster charge)
