INFORMATION
The undersigned Prosecution Attorney II accuses Venancio Aray of the crime
of Simple Robbery defined and penalized under Article 294, paragraph 5 of the
Revised Penal Code, committed as follows:
That on or about 05 July 2014, within the vicinity of Ateneo de
Davao University premises, in the City of Davao, a place within the
jurisdiction of the Honorable Court, the above-named accused, motivated
by the promises of a reward, did then and there, willfully, unlawfully and
feloniously, commit the felony of robbery defined and penalized under
Article 294, paragraph 5 of the Revised Penal Code, by rushing to the side
of Serena Willows and with a sharp-pointed instrument, intimidate her into
parting with her Gucci bag that contained valuables; when the latter
refused, the accused forcibly pulled the bag from Charry Sys arms
causing her to fall to the ground and sustain slight injuries; that the
accused was eventually able to grab possession of the valuables in the
total sum of P 10,000.00 thereby performing all the acts of execution
necessary to produce the felony of simple robbery to the damage and
prejudice of Charry Sy.
