VERIFIED MOTION TO RELEASE BAIL

Accused, through the undersigned counsel, unto this Honorable Court,

respectfully states:

1. That on May 11, 2016 the accused posted bail for his provisional liberty in
the amount of TWELVE THOUSAND PESOS (P12,000.00) for Direct Assault, SIX
THOUSAND PESOS (P6,000.00) for Slander and TWO THOUSAND PESOS
(P2,000.00) for Resistance and Disobedience to an Agent of a Person in Authority
for a total amount of TWENTY THOUSAND PESOS (P20,000.00) as evidenced by
Official Receipts Nos. 3268371, 3268372 and 3268373 ,copies of which is hereto
attached as Annex “A”, “B” and “C” respectively and made an integral part hereof;

2. That in the Joint Resolution of the City Prosecutor dated May 24, 2016 the
cases of Direct Assault and Resistance and Disobedience to an Agent of a Person in
Authority were dismissed and only the case of Slander remains;

3. That considering that the accused posted cash bonds on the two (2)
dismissed cases the Accused is asking for the indulgence of the Honorable Court for
their release considering the accused merely borrowed the money for his cash
bonds;

WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing, accused most respectfully prays that his
cash bail bonds for Direct Assault and Disobedience to an Agent of a Person in
Authority totaling FOURTEEN THOUSAND PESOS (P14,000.00) be released.

Other just and equitable reliefs are likewise prayed for.
