Theme description
Rain. Floods. Rivers. Seas. Tears.
Water is everywhere. In its never-ending exhibition of changing forms, across faith and
politics; nature and edifices; birth and death, water, at times, takes a sojourn. It is,
during these ephemeral moments, that we get a chance to delve into its magnificence.
MONTAGE 16 aims to bring the best of these moments together, in myriad shades and
varied perspectives, captured by the photo practitioners from India and Bangladesh.
The submitted work under the THEMATIC category must portray water as its
protagonist either in terms of activity or aesthetics or both, adhering to any genre
(Nature, Photojournalism, Documentary, Travel, Studio or any other). However, a
prosaic interpretation of the theme is not encouraged.
