Hello families,

I extend a warm welcome to 5GN and their families. It has been a lovely
week getting to meet students and parents. Miss Alida and myself are
excited about how the class is forming into a group of proactive students.
We have spent the first week establishing routines and getting to know each
other. We also mastered a new strategy for multiplication and did some
narrative writing. What was also very special was looking at how success
can be defined from a number of different perspectives. You may be amazed
to know how much your children look up to you!
Our Grade 5 Essential Agreement demonstrates that 5GN is comprised of a
group of motivated students who are keen to take advantage of their time in
school. Your child should have already discussed this with you.
This year 5GN will be a good role model by being polite, creative, respectful
and mature. 5GN will demonstrate the PYP attributes of the learner profile.
We are all looking forward to a great year and will be helping each other
achieve our goals.
