Dear Parents/Guardians:

On or before May 31st of each year, the Board of Education must approve and make available a School Calendar for the coming
year. As required, please find the District Calendar and the specific school information for École Poirier Elementary.

School Operation Details By Day:

1. Length of School Day: 8:45 AM to 2:45 PM

2. School Office Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM
3. Minutes of Instruction: 285 minutes.
4. Number of Breaks: one 15 minute recess/break.
4. Lunch Break: 11:55 AM to 12:45 PM
5. Early Dismissal (Three Hours for All Schools) – Parent-Teacher Interviews/Conferences:

• Thursday, March 3, 2011

The first full half-day for Kindergarten Students will be Wednesday, September 15, 2010, with orientation sessions
scheduled for students from September 7 - 14. Details of this schedule will be communicated by the school.
