About us
Wisdom Academy has been established to fulfil the long felt need of the people of south Bongaigaon.
Wisdom Academy tries to give a platform to the students of all class and community by providing quality
education. The quality of teaching is visioned to keep high by providing properly qualified teacher and
by keeping an accurate teacher pupil ratio. The school follows CBSE curriculum.

Note for Parents

1. Parents are requested to co-operate with the school authorities to enforce


regularity and discipline on their children and see that they prepare their
lessons daily and show interest in the activities for the school.
2. Parents are requested to sign message, Progress Reports, or any other
similar documents when so required.
3. Parents will not be permitted to the class without prior permission either to
see their children or interview the teachers. Any communication (request
or complaint) is to be addressed to the Principal only.
4. The Principals prior consent is to be obtained in case a gift or similar token
is made to teachers by the parents.
5. No pupils will be allowed to leave the school during class time with
domestic helpers or otehrs, unless a letter from his/her parents/gurdians is
produced to the Principal.
6. Kindly send home-items and fruit as Tiffin for your ward.
7. You are requested to keep the school informed regarding any disability (if
any) that needs special care and attention of the staff.

a)Admission procedure and criteria:

1.Admission of the students is done through admission test only.

2. Admission is done only if seats are available.

3. Admission tests are conducted on the dates notified by the Principal.

4. Admission is allowed if the student qualifies in the test and submits a T.C. of the
previous school .

5. No T.C. is required for students taking admission in LKG, UKG and std. I.

6.Students seeking to take admission in Nursery class must complete 3 years in January.
The age of other classes will be regulated accordingly.

7. Admission is open to all without any distinction.

b) Admission test:

Admission test are taken on the following subjects.

L.K.G. Eng., Maths

U.K.G. Eng., Maths

I-III Eng., Maths

Iv-Onwards Eng., Maths, Sc

c) Promotion Criteria

Assesment and promotion of students is done according to the CBSE guidelines and
norms based on the continuous, comprehensive evaluation programme conducted throughout the
year.It is hence, of paramount importance to perform well in every Formative (class test). Summative
(Unit test), Half-yearly and Annual Exams.

Distrubution and weightage of marks is as follows:

F.A.=20 S.A.=30% C.W.=5% H.W.=5% Assignment=10%

Class Response=10% Project=20%

*L.K.G.- Eng, Maths, Rhymes, Drawing and G.K.

*U.K.G.-Eng , Maths, Rhymes, Hindi, G.K. and Drwaing

* Std. I & III- Eng, Maths, EVS, Assm, Hindi,Drwaing, G.K.,Moral Sc, PT, Yoga & Music, Comp.

5. Co-Curricular Activities

The school tries to provide opportunities for the Physical, Social, Mental and Moral Development of
children. Keeping this end in view, the students are divided into four Houses and all co-curricular
activities are organised House-wise. Competition in Sports, Games, Hand-Craft, Literary and Artistic
pursuit are held through the year besides celebration of festivals, Annual Sports and School Day.
