which both benefit from the association.

B.Commensalism

Is a class of relationships between two

organisms where one organism benefits from
the other without affecting it.

C. Parasitism

One organism, called the parasite acquires

food from the other organism called the host.
Therefore the parasitic species is benefited
and the host species is harmed. Smaller
parasites tend to be endoparasites which live in
the body of the host like the tapeworm, disease
producing bacteria and viruses. Larger
parasites tend to be ectoparasites which
remain attached to the exterior of the host by
means of specialized organs.

Examples of :

Ectoparasites

Endoparasites

D. Predation
Where predator such as hawks, lions, and
wolves attacked and kill their prey and feed on

their body. In catching and eating prey,

predators help to reduce the size of the prey
population.
When predators are absent, prey species can
be become too enormous and crowd out other
organisms.

Tiger and Wolf
