An 80mm high vertical equilateral triangular prism has one of its sides of the
base 50mm long & is perpendicular to VP. It is cut by a plane perpendicular to
VP, passing through axis midpoint and inclined to HP such that the true shape
of the section is a trapezium with parallel sides of 50mm and 12mm. Draw the
two projections, true shape of the section and find the inclination angle of the
section plane with HP.
A cone, base 65 mm dia. & axis 75 mm long, is lying in the HP on one of its
generators with its axis parallel to the VP. A section plane parallel to the VP
cuts the cone 6 mm away from its axis. Draw the sectional front view and
sectional top view of the cone.
A sphere of 75mm dia. is cut by a section plane, perpendicular to the VP and
inclined at 30 to the HP in such a way that the true shape of the section is a
circle of 50 mm dia. Draw its front view & sectional top view.
The 3 corners of a triangle ABC are 15mm, 40mm, 20mm in front of VP and
20mm, 10mm and 35mm above the HP, respectively. The horizontal distance
between the projectors through A, B and through B, C are 25 mm each. Draw
the two projections of the triangle. Using the auxiliary planes method, obtain
the true shape of the triangle ABC.
