Welcome
Welcome to 3rd grade and my class! We are
going to have a wonderful year.
Any time you have any questions or concerns,

period is from 12:15- 1:00. The phone

Thursday Folder
On Thursday a Conduct folder will come home
allowing you to see your childs grades and
conduct for the week. Please look over the
papers and sign any grades below 70 and return
them. Also, sign the folder and return it on
Friday.

Accelerated Reader
Each Six Weeks your child will need to earn
10 points in AR for a 100 Reading test grade.
If he/she earns 9 points their grade will be
90, 8 points will get them an 80, and so on.
Everyone will have an opportunity to go to the
library almost daily and once a week we will
go as a class for 45 minutes. This year I am
going to have a drawing each six weeks.
Everyone that gets their 10 points for the six
weeks will fill out a ticket to put in the
drawing. We will have at least one drawing a
six weeks for different prizes. It is important
that your child read daily. Thank you for your
support.
