Adding New bay Units with MCU(Bus bar) in Siemens Relays.

Master control unit- 7SS522


[Link] Substation Configuration then Insert bay name

2. Draw Lines as per Scheme requirements.

3. Select Disconnectors, CB & CT icons from left side bar and select bay , name the
isolator and select bay unit.

6. otherwise select and copy from last bay & change the bay names

7. And after saving substation configuration, read the bay unit configuration file in the
same folder and select the corresponding device in bay unit allocation(Mcu)

Configuration - Bay unit (7SS523 or 7SS525)


While using bay unit relay in 220kV Double bus bar with transfer scheme, bus bar
protection selection depend upon isolator status, Mcu relay takes the isolator status
from this bay unit relay, the DC-1 open and close status depend upon isolator-1 status
in bay unit.
