In A.P. Moller - Maersk our Values serve as an integrated part of
the way we do business. Values guide our behaviour and ensure
that we make ethically sound decisions that are aligned with our
company culture.
A.P. Moller - Maersk has great strengths and opportunities. We have
what it takes to build on our foundation to make something truly
extraordinary. But with constantly changing market conditions,
we need to adapt and seek out new opportunities continuously.
Our values provide a strong anchor for this.
The values Constant Care and Humbleness imply that we must
prepare for the future and look to our customers as well as
competitors for inspiration on how we can continuously improve
our practices. Uprightness requires transparency and accountability
in everything we do. This goes hand in hand with Our Employees
and Our Name that entail striving to make our company an
inspiring and challenging place to work, and a valuable and credible
business partner.
The values are, by nature, open to interpretation. Therefore, I
encourage you to consider and discuss with your colleagues and
leader what our values mean for your particular role in our company.
With this in mind, I hope you will take the time to familiarise
yourself with our core values as you join us in the exciting and
challenging journey ahead.
