MAP GUIDE
The buildings listed represent ali periods of Nim
York architecture. In many casesthe notion of
significant building or "monument" is an
unfortunate format to adhere to, and a portion of
a street or an area of severatblocks is listed. Many
'buildings which are of historic interest on/y have
not been listed. Certain new buildings, which have
replaced significant works of architecture, have
been purposefully omitted. Also commissions for
interiorsonly, such as shops, banks, and
showrooms have not been included.
