Letter of Reference for Sangeetha Rajasekeran

I take happiness in writing this letter of reference for my student, Sangeetha Rajasekeran. I
have known Sangeetha from when she was an enthusiastic student in my Digital Design
class, during her third semester of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
She is currently in her fifth semester, and is pursuing a project in my guidance to develop a
sensor based signalling system using IR sensors and tachometer functions. It is an attempt to
reduce the accident rates and control the traffic in constrained tunnels under flyovers, with
vehicular movement on either side of the path. As part of the research, she assessed various
possible models of signalling systems, analyzed and chose the components required for the
same and will be integrating them into a micro-controller module.
She is highly enthusiastic in anything she carries out, and loves experimental work. She is a
passionate learner- which I have come to observe both as her project guide and as her former
teacher. I am certain she will do well in any project that she takes up, and do it to her fullest
potential.
She is most definitely suited to work in a research setting. Her hard-working nature,
dedication, academic skills and high level of interest makes her a suitable candidate for an
internship, and I strongly recommend her application for the same.
