Opening Essay Outline
I. Introduction
When I was stuck by the question what would the subject have to say right now in
the mini-writing task on last Friday, my mind subconsciously recalled a similar
situation in a cartoon called Toy Story. In that very famous scene, every toy
awakes and weirdly talks! Woody even has a battle with Buzz Lightyear because
of the argument your head is full of cotton! I should be Andys favorite toy! Their
words are full of pride and strength. Remember the toys would never be pride for their
price or appearance like humans. And I realize I got something from that, which is the
time and the ways we use language depends on what role and circumstance we are in.
I use three different styles to write the same thing of describing an object directly base
on what character I am. The differences include changing the main focus, person and
intonation for each question.
