Well, there are many reasons. The carelessness of parents is one of them. For example,

Mother

: some parents leave their children alone in cars. It is not advisable to do so, even if its
for a few minutes. This may give child kidnappers a chance.
Last week when I was playing on the playground, I heard a stranger calling my name.

Paul

I ran to a safe place. Only then I looked back.

Thats the right thing to do. Dont respond to stranger at once. If someone tells you
that your parents are hurt, always check if its true by calling us.

Mother

: What if we are grabbed by a stranger? Wed be so helpless then.

Try to attract as much attention as you can, Stella. Scream loudly and struggle hard.

Stella

You can also hit, kick and bite the strangers body. If you have a chance to run, dont

look back until youve reached someone who can help you, or a safe place.

Mother

: Ill bear that in mind, Mother.
